How To: Help Your RV Park Guests Have A Great Exit

When campers check out there are a lot of things they might forget to check prior to take off. The most recent example we heard of was an awning left up taking out a few trees along the way. Making sure the entry… and exit of your campground is the best experience is essential. Here is a check list you can give to your RV Park guests upon checkout to ensure a perfect exit from your park.

  1. The walk around. Make sure every RV owner walks around their camper one last time after packing up to ensure there are no cords or hookups left plugged in. Extension cords tend to go over looked.

  2. Awning checks. There are many who see their awning out so much they forget to bring it in. Next thing you know, and several trees later, their awning is ruined.

  3. Check the tow vehicle. Make sure all the brake lights and connectors are functioning properly. One of the main causes of accidents is failure to break or signal.

  4. Check the interior, but especially the bathroom. Bathroom shampoos and washes often go overlooked and can cause a big mess.

  5. Don’t forget to check all your mirrors. This may seem obvious but once on the road, it is hard to find a place to pull off and fix the small things.

Giving small things, like this list, to your RV Park guests goes a long way at checkout. This will only leave a great impression upon departure. To make their check out even easier, use Bonfire, for one click checkouts and payment processing.
